I have noticed that my thinking, in my head, often flows very smoothly and comfortably. After all, that is how associations keep coming. A knowledge system, full of concept-oriented notes, requires that my new knowledge fits within my old knowledge. If it doesn’t, something needs to change.
This pressure is a force that guarantees progress in understanding over time, even without otherwise more active forms such as prompt driven composition.
